Artsy Stamper Addicts cruisin´!

Hi there,
I am so excited to announce that I form part of Artsy Stamper Addicts design team!

And today I would like to show you a card I made using the digital image created by Beverly Cole.

I thought that retro style will be the best, perfect for a masculine card!

I printed a black and white image and coloured it using my markers.

In Artsystamper shop you can find already coloured images as well. I made a couple more cards using coloured images from the shop.

The digital stamp set is called, Cruisin'
You can find a Retro paper pack coordinating  with the digi stamps here

And if you buy any three items  until the end of July, and get 25% off your entire order!

Thank you for stopping by and check you the Artsystampers blog to see more designs created by amazing artists.

My fishies Koi (sketch)

Hello there,

Here I am again with another sketch I made for Copic España blog.

I drew koi fish before, I drew pebbles before, I drew water as well, but never all together. I think it came out pretty neat.
A closer look

I made horizontal strokes all across the sketch with a C1 marker to imitate the water. And added rubbing alcohol with a brush to blend and add those light spots.

As it was a sketch for Copic markers blog, you can see the markers I used.

Hope you liked it,

Gagarin, I loved you... (sketch and a free digi)

Hey there,
Been a while 😉
Today I'd like to publish a sketch I made for Copic España for the 12th of April.
Born in the USSR this date is always a Day of space exploring, as on this date in 1961 aboard the spacecraft Vostok 1, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin becomes the first human being to travel into space.

Drawing galaxies doesn´t let go, it´s an addiction. I guess I just love the process

First I made crazy colours mix all over the page, then used a pipette to make some drops with alcohol, let dry and added Distress Inks to darken everything.
EVERY SINGLE TIME it´s a different design!

The title is handwritten with golden ink. I wish I could tell oh it was so easy. But no, it was painful 😂 I´m not good at lettering. YET.

I like it!
Oh, and about that ¨Gagarin I loved you¨: there is a very catchy song by Underwood band.

And as promissed a digi if you'd like to try to colour your own cosmonaut 😄

Have fun,
xxx Inga.

Things to do with dad: scrapbook album with Veesun.

Hello there,

This project was planned long time ago, but I had all kind of hiccups on the way.
Finally it's done! And I am very pleased with the result.

This project was made in collaboration with Vessun. They stock very handy scrapbooks, journals and accessories to create a unique scrapbook for your big and little memories.
I have a tendency to do everything from scratch, albums included. Absolutely stunned when I realized that I can have a perfect base album already ready! Also the classic clean linen finish makes it suitable for vintage, shabby or modern styles.

But I got inspired by its black insert paper, and challenged myself into creating a kid's album.
Yeah, I know. Not my style at all!
(here are some measurements and a view when open)

The whole essence of scrapbooking is to create personalized memories, right?
what if we can make it even more interactive?.. In this album you can find some ideas for activities that will keep everyone entertained and create memories that kids will have for a lifetime (or at least they'll have something to say when a teacher asks "What did you do this summer")

So I started with inking the sides with Distress Inks, and assembling some chipboard and decorations.

I heat-embossed the chipboard using golden embossing powder and Versamark. And using my tidy tray.

And after I took this photo I forgot completely that I wanted to show the process and just started enjoying it 😂
So here are some details of the cover and pages.

Monster eyes everywhere!

And inside

I inserted a sheet of acetate, and glued the golden letters to it. So if later I'd like to change the title I will be able to do it. I think this is one of the things I really like in this scrapbook - you can  change pages!

The pages are nicely black and smooth, really tempting to use a white pen.

Here's a close up of the page, just wanted to show the faux stitching.
And the front page is for a photo of partners in crime fun. Just slide it in

There are more pages of fun activities that I am planning to publish, so keep in touch.

Here is where you can buy a Linen cover scrapbook.
To add more pages, get Refill pages which are pre-cut and already have holes.

You can get a 15% off with a code "WITHVEESUN" and if you order and share your work on Instagram tag it #withveesun to get featured.

It was fun. It was like going back in time when my daughter was little and I was organizing all kind of adventures for her and her friends: scavenger hunts and shadow puppets, tents and sidewalk chalk drawing...

Hope you liked it,
see you soon 💓

Almost a CAS card, almost tutorial.

Hi there,
So many times I hear that cardmaking and scrapbooking require a lot of tools and materials... well, it is true, but at the same time it is possible to make something nice looking with a minimum amount of materials.

Like this card I want to show today.
It is just black and white cardstock, markers (or pencils, or felt tips, or paint - experiment!), some liquid pearls (totally optional).

Donut fear, you can do it!

Hello there,
Here I am with a sketch made for Copic España. As it was planned to be published on the 8th of March I decided to make it related to this special date.

Happy Women´s Day!
