Some recent sketches

I am drifting towards sketching, I just can't help it 😄

We had pretty tough couple of months and we needed a tiny escape vacations.
A beautiful village, population 8 people. Perfect.
Here is an actual view from the window of Bed&Breakfast we were staying. A real 12th century castle.

the doorknocker that we actually had to use as there wasn't a doorbell

and together

also a quick sketch from this afternoon - hot chilli peppers

That's all for today,

Something old, something new, something borrowed...

... and I guess nothing blue.

I haven´t posted much of my sketches lately, a bit in Instagram but not all of them.
Why? I don't know, there's always something more urgent to do, to take a photo of or publish.

Anyways here are some of the drawings I made in last couple of weeks and one that I made a year ago but haven't published it until now (revived by #tbt hashtag 😂)

So let's start with something old
Y empezamos con este

made it last year and still like it!
Cumple un añito y todavía me gusta!

Something new
Uno nuevo

I love this technique, it's so simple and effective. Just blend everything in and make some details (raindrops and plants) with a white and black pen. I like playing with the light lately I believe I could grab a feeling of that bright sunshine that shows up after a rain.

Something borrowed... well, not exactly. I was following an online streaming and drawing along. Had to leave earlier, so I finished it on my own later that day, so it isn't exactly the same dandelion. But I like it as it is

and a cupcake (does it count as a 'blue'??)
y una magdalena)))

that´s all for today
es todo por ahora

Diamond fold card with a modified Gorjuss stamp

Hello there,
Just to show you a tiny card with a hidden diamond (yeah! that's a cool name for it 😄) and a Gorjuss girl.

I drew the face and coloured the stamp with Copic markers. She is very cute!

You probably are wondering why I called it a diamond card...  It is HIDDEN 😂

LOVE...

... makes everything better!

Another quick entry. Just using my old stamps and dies in a new combination.
This time I made a card using a colour resist technique. Simple but effective.
I changed the stamp that said 'chocolate makes everything better', sure it does but I cut off the word 'chocolate'))) now the phrase has a totally new meaning.

Ah and I keep experimenting with those wooden panels, they are perfect as a background.

I'd like to enter:

Recycled wood Layout

It was quite ambitious of me but I had to try)) to make my own wooden base for a layout.

Originally I wanted to make just a decorative piece but then going through the photos I found this one 😂

This is a full picture of the layout.
Wood planks spray painted with gesso, using a heart shaped mask...

and a bit closer

Here all the cracks and chipped paint are visible. I like how it turned out, definitely will try to make more.

Dark angel aka Reina

hi there,

Finally I finished this notebook, yay! Took me a while)))
I was challenged to make a project using a very peculiar colour palette proposed by Reina Akasha

It was quite a leap from my confort zone.
Anyways I had an idea straight away... but there were endless changes ... and here we go

some details: glitter, fabric, feathers, microbeads

I am very happy how it turned out, this is the back

inside there are black pages (240 gr cardstock, perfect for sketching... yes, it is black but hey! did I mention that the colours of this challenge were quite a challenge? so this is my itsy bitsy revenge)

that's it for today

Spring Basket with a digi stamp

Hey there,
Just a quick weekend project here.
It took me couple of days to take some decent photos as it was raining non-stop (yeah, rain in Spain 😛) and the light wasn't very good.
My first attempt with a lamp, na-ah the colours are a bit off...

And here it is in natural light...
I used 7dots Studio paper from old collection, I like it a lot

The handle is doubled to make it stronger (and prettier from inside as well)
Sweet little message on the back...

.
And a closer look at this cute guy.
Coloured with Copic markers.
The flower is a Prima Marketing Zella Teal collection.
And I would like to enter these challenges:
