Minnie Mouse Card Tutorial

Here is a quick DIY tutorial for a simple, cute and  easy-to-make birthday card or birthday party invitation. I am sure that everyone will absolutely love it!

ES: Aquí está un tuto rápido para hacer una tajeta muy cuqui para cumpleaños (o como una invitación a cumpleaños) infantil.

As I said before it can be a birthday party invitation - there actual card is a pocket holding a card where you can write your message.
ES: Cómoo he dicho antes puede ser una invitación porque es una tarjeta que entra en un sobre.

You can make a Mickey card using the same steps, just don't tie a bow!
ES: Se puede hacer la misma tarjeta como ¨Mickey¨ pero sin lacito.

Also instead of red card you can use pink, and make it all pinky-girly!

I used black, red and white 225 gr card. The measurements are as follow:

ES: También en lugar de cartulina roja se puede usar cartulina rosa y hacerlo muy muy de chica!
He utulizado la cartulina negra, roja y blanca de 225gr

If you don't have a diecut machine you can trace something with a similar diameter (like a cup) and cut the circles with scissors.

Fold the black card in half,
Make the corners rounded:
      *black card* 2 top corners

      *red and white card* all 4 corners

ES Si no tienes la maquina troqueladora no pasa nada, se puede tracear un objeto redondo de similar diametro y recortar circulos con tijeras.
Doblar la cartulina negra por la mitad,
Hacer las esquinas redondeadas como sigue:
- cartulina negra 2 esquinas de arriba

- cartulinas roja y blanca 4 esquinas

Out of scrap paper (I used pink) cut out a circle same diameter as the black circles (7 cm approx). Fold it in half. Unfold, and fold in half again leaving the circle divided in 4 parts.

Align the pink circle with the top of the black card as shown on a picture
ES He recortado un circulo más de cartulina de otro color (en mi caso rosa) de 7 cm diamentro, igual como los circulo de orejas.
Doblar por la mitad, abrir, doblar en otra dirección. Así tenemos este circulo dividido en 4 partes.
Colocar el circulo sobre la cartulina negra como en la foto abajo

make some marks directly on a fold and on the outer side of the card. Make an incision with a craft knife or scissors *not passing the cross on the picture above.

Put 3 mm double sided tape very close to the edge *wavy lines on the picture above.
ES: Cortar con tijeras o cutter por la linea discontinua (sin pasar la cruz)
Usar la cinta de doble cara de 3 mm (o pegamento) sobre bordes marcados con lineas onduladas.

close the card, so you get some kind of envelope. The red card should come in and out with no effort.
ES: Al cerrar la cartulina tenemos una especie de sobre, la tarjeta roja tiene que entrar y salir sin esfuerzo.

Place your red card and the pink scrap paper circle as shown above.

Put some tacky glue on the corner,
ES Colocar la cartulina roja y el circulo de papel de otro color (rosa) como en la foto de arriba.
Poner un poco de pegamento en la esquina indicada.

Place the black circle directly on top of the pink one. Like this we are going to be sure that the ears are placed on the same distance from each other.
ES Colocar el circulo negro de oreja directamente encima del circulo rosa. Así las orejars estarán bien colocadas con la misma distancia y simétricas.

Repeat on the other side. Now we have the ears!
ES Repetir por otro lado, ya tenemos las orejas!

Glue the white panel on top of the red one.

* you can print it first and then cut out panels. 

Or stamp, 

or use your calligraphy powers))) 

The insert is done, let's put it aside to dry.

ES Pegar la cartulina blanca para el mensaje. Se puede imprimir el texto y recortar despues, o usar sellos, o tus poderes en caligrafía)))
La tarjetita que va dentro está lista, hay que dejar de secar.

Glue the big red circle on the black pocket card.
ES Pegar el circulo rojo grande en el sobre negro.

on a piece of white paper stamp your sentiment, cut it out, you can make the corners rounded as I did. Place the sentiment on the card. I used 2 mm foam tape to raise it a bit

ES usa el sello para la frase, recorta, se puede hacer las esquinas redondeadas etc.
Pegar a la tarjeta. He utulizado la espuma de 2 mm para levantarlo un poco.

Make a bow, glue it to the top of the pocket card.

Add some bling-bling...

And - voilà- the card is ready. Told you it was easy)))
ES Un lacito pegado sobre el sobre y un poco de ´diamantes´
Y ya está, la tarjeta terminada, ya dije que era una tarjeta sencilla
