Last days of autumn

Hi there,
Today I'd like to show you a quick sketch I made for Copic Spain blog.

My daughter and I were walking down the street in Barcelona, the trees were nicely golden and I tell my girl: hey, I want to make a sketch of one of the leaves... And immediately I see a perfect one. On a tree.
I see 2 tall guys approaching, so I asked them to help me to get the leaf. One of the got it for me, no word spoken 😆 they both looked shocked... well, guys, it's all for art! 😍😉

Red Riding Hood

Hello there.
My latesr post for Copic Spain was a bit different and challenging for me.
See I don't draw people. Nope, na-ah. It is funny because years ago all I was drawing were portraits and flowers. Now it's mostly food... Am I growing up? or something?..

It is a quick

Hey there,

Do you like pomegranates? I do. And they just started to sell pomegranates in my local supermarket, yay!
So this is a beginning of a series of projects dedicated to this delicious (and beautiful) fruit.

These shoes are made for walking

... NOT!
Well, who am I kidding. maximum I can do wearing these heels is to sit beautifully 😂
Not because I can't walk on high heels, I used to wear high heels everywhere anytime, but lately for some reason I opt for more comfort and honestly I can't find anything decent in the shops. I am not much of a bling-bling girl.

Anyways here is a sketch I made for Copic España blog. High heels perfect for one specific dress, worn in ONE ocasion.  I don't have that dress anymore though...

El campamento del ¨Conejo Blanco¨

Hola,

Gagarin, I loved you... (sketch and a free digi)

Hey there,
Been a while 😉
Today I'd like to publish a sketch I made for Copic España for the 12th of April.
Born in the USSR this date is always a Day of space exploring, as on this date in 1961 aboard the spacecraft Vostok 1, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin becomes the first human being to travel into space.

Things to do with dad: scrapbook album with Veesun.

Finally it's done! And I am very pleased with the result.

Almost a CAS card, almost tutorial.

Hi there,
So many times I hear that cardmaking and scrapbooking require a lot of tools and materials... well, it is true, but at the same time it is possible to make something nice looking with a minimum amount of materials.

Like this card I want to show today.
It is just black and white cardstock, markers (or pencils, or felt tips, or paint - experiment!), some liquid pearls (totally optional).

A kitty called Bunny

Hello there,

Another project made for Copic España blog. It wasn't my intention to make it a tutorial, but I am sharing some tricks of how to sketch a semi-realistic pet portrait.

But I guess I have to explain the name of the post (it is not sketch related so you can skip it if you want).
So we own a cat (or she owns us 😂) Her name is Zayka. She appeared at our porch a year ago so skinny and scared. Her ears were shredded in a nasty fight... we got her to the vet and operated her.
Normally the cat starts walking and acting normal in a week after the operation, in case of Zayka it was more than a month - she was hardly moving from her bed in the storage room. Then very slowly she started to get up. We were looking for a home for her, and didn't want to give her a name to get attached so we called her Little Kitty or Zayka ("zayka" literally means "bunny" in Russian, but is widely used in a meaning "sweetie" or "darling"). After our older dog died we decided to adopt Zayka. And the name kinda stuck with her 😃 And what we thought she hadn't been feeling well. she is just really introverted 😂

So I made her portrait in a bunny hat. Makes sense, right? 😉

Be my Clementine)))

Hi there,
I am very excited to announce that I form part of Copic España Design Team! I am speechless so why don't we just proceed directly to the project I made for them.

I wasn't quite sure if it is the time to publish Valentine's projects yet... but there are a few reasons why I really wanted to do it. Well, I love clementines, they are good. Also it is a part of a New Year's mood, when I was a kid it was the only time when you could buy them.
And very soon the citruses will be in bloom, you just open the door and get knocked over by a delicious smell (yup, we are lucky to have orange orchards right outside)

No clementine was harmed in the making of this post.
(Actually it's a lie, none was left by the end of the photo shoot)
